Cosmetology School
The Westchester Barber Academy opened its doors June 2022. Building off the success of our highly recommended barbering program, we strive for excellence in our quickly growing cosmetology program to help you become proficient in styling all hair types (including textured hair). Our full-time Cosmetology course consists of 1000 hours. The cost of the program is $15,500 (tools, textbook, e-book, and licensing fees included). This can be paid in full or via a payment plan.

Initial down payment of $4,300.36 and registration fee of $100.00 ($4,400.36 Down payment with registration fee)

Class Schedule Options
Our school has a rolling admission where new students start class on the 1st Tuesday of every month.
Full-Time (30 hours per week): 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. (Approximately 8.5 months to complete) OR
Part-Time (20 hours per week): 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday through Friday. (Approximately 11.5 months to complete)

✓ Required high school Diploma (HSD), General Equivalency Diploma (GED), current high school report card or transcript. If you do not have an HSD or GED, WBA will administer an Ability to Benefit (ATB) exam prior to enrolling.
✓ If you have an HSD from a foreign country, you must submit a notarized translation and a copy of the original document. ✓ Must be 17 years of age at the time of graduation. ✓ Proof of address ✓ Photo Identification.
